Since he was a young boy, Larry spent his whole life learning about the outdoors and fishing. His brothers always took him fishing and he came to love the sport. He used all his spare time going fishing and became somewhat of an expert at finding ways to catch fish and not go home empty handed. It seemed he was always showing others his little tricks and gave them tips from his own experiences to help them learn how to fish. He continued to go fishing in all his spare time and learned more and more and the more he learned the more he shared and helped others. He began to enjoy sharing his knowledge with others and one day decided to start a business doing what he loves.

You guessed it; in 2007, he started Larry’s Hook Line and Sinker Fishing Guide Service. With the business of being a fishing guide, he is able to help more people that want to catch fish and learn about the sport. Just ask Larry anything about fishing and he will tell you what he knows from his own experiences about what works and what doesn’t and the type of fish that are biting depending on the time of year and what lake will produce the best results.

Larry and his wife, Janice has been married 34 years and she is a big supporter and thoroughly enjoys being in the outdoors as well. They spend time camping and fishing together or going with friends to have fun and relax on the lakes. They raised their two boys, David and Kyle in the outdoors life of camping, fishing and hunting and encourage others to expose their children to the outdoors environment. Nowadays, they are spending time taking and teaching their grandchildren about the wilderness. Such a bonding takes place when you spend time learning about the wilderness environment and having a fun time with your children.

Larry has been fishing for so long, he just knows when and where the best fishing will take place depending on the time of year, but there is no way to predict it since it changes from year to year. Although the changing seasons and weather at the given time provides hints on what lakes and type of fish will be easier prey, he will know when that time arrives. He is going to use whatever knowledge and instinct he can to help his customers have the best time fishing and a great experience to talk about to anyone that will listen. He does promise to give all of his customers a memorable time spending it on the beautiful Oklahoma lakes fishing no matter what time of year it is and will share all his resources to teach you how to fish.
