Larry's Hook, Line & Sinker Guide Service

Lake Skiatook Fishing Guide

We offer morning trips and evening trips using live bait on free lines or down lines. On Lake Skiatook we fish for stripers, hybrids and white bass (sand bass). This is one of our favorite lakes to fish hybrids and the prime time is from the middle of May to the end of June. They can also be caught throughout the summer. We will do our absolute best to get you on fish and make it a fun, great fishing adventure!

Skiatook Lake is located in Osage county in Northeast Oklahoma 5 miles west of Skiatook. It has 1607 miles of shoreline and 10,190 surface acres.

What We Fish For

  • Stripers – have no arched back and the lines /stripes are unbroken. Inside of the mouth, there will be two long oblong shaped patches on the tongue.
  • Hybrids – have a slight arched back and some of the lines/stripes have broken lines. Inside of the mouth, there will be two oblong-shaped patches on the tongue.
  • White Bass – have a noticeable arched back with faint lines that are usually unbroken. Inside of the mouth, there will be a heart-shaped patch on the tongue.
